Our least expensive helmet is great for someone with a small 110-volt welder. The viewing area measures 1 1/16" x 3 3/4" (almost 4 sq. in.), but the fact that you can see through the lens before you strike the arc makes it seem much larger. The Striker offers HTLS - light state is a shade of 2.75 and it darkens to a shade of 10. It only weighs 2.6 oz with the batteries. I've found this helmet will tackle any welding job I need to do around the shop.
