Metal Working Tools
Flanging Plier f/Curves
This tool is indispensable
for street rodders and restorers of old cars. Just
think of all curved surfaces on those 40's and 50's
model cars - wouldn't it be nice to flange those just
like the flat surfaces? Well now you can! The flanging
plier will make a 5/32" wide, .040" offset
in a panel which will allow you to walk it around a
curve. Plus, the jaws are relieved to eliminate jaw
marks on the curved surface. Maximum depth of the flange
is 3/4". You may not need this tool often, but
when you do, it's a lifesaver!

HTP Combination Punch
& Flange Tool
Here's a remarkably
easy way you can make professional looking and fitting
replacement panels, even in the center of large, flat
panels without warpage. Best of all, you don't have
to be a highly experienced fabricator to get perfect
results each and every time.
The flanger will press a 7/8" wide, .040" offset
in your panel. The benefit of flanging your panel is
that it allows you to
perform a flush lap weld rather than a butt weld. Secondly, a flanged
panel has significantly more rigidity resulting in less warpage when
welding.
Swivel the head and the flanger becomes a hole puncher.
The quick and easy way to punch holes in panels for
MIG Plug Welding. Your choice
of 3/16" or IICAR recommended 5/16" holes.
This labor saving tool will produce factory looking
repairs requiring less finishing time, saving you time
and money. Much faster than the "vise
grip" style flangers. Replacement punch and die sets are readily
available which means this tool will last you a lifetime. Punches and
flanges in metal up to 20 gauge.

Notching Tool
This tool is a "must have" for
anyone who butt welds panels together. Imagine a tool that makes
it possible to butt weld panels together and not have to grind
welds, while at the same time reinforcing the panel and giving
it rigidity to help reduce warpage.
Imagine the HTP notching tool. The notching tool puts a 45ƒ lip in
the edge of the panels to be welded together. This lip reinforces the
panel and helps to resist warpage when welding. When the two panels
are placed side by side, a "V" is formed. This valley provides
an area for the weld metal to flow in and virtually eliminates grinding.

Panibbler
Next to one of our plasma cutters,
this Panibbler is the most efficient and fastest way to cut metal.
. . your very own hand-operated sheet metal shear. It will cut
3/64" steel or 5/64" aluminum or stainless as fast
as you can go. Use it on a tight curve or radius, even corrugated
materials. For long, straight cuts just clamp a straight edge
to the panel. Here's how it works: you operate the throttle lever
to precisely feather the speed of a two stage reciprocating die
which cuts out small, half-moon chips. You can see the cutting
die so following your pattern is simple. This machine weighs
only 1-1/2 lbs., yet is packed with power for tough jobs. It
can cut a hole as tight as a silver dollar. Perfect for cutting
rusted areas in hard-to-reach places, making rust and panel repairs
easier than conventional hand tool methods.
